Join Jeanne K and Green's Feed and Seed every Friday morning at 11:20am, as she features a new pet each week available for adoption at the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association or Boone Animal Rescue Coalition.

"Elena" was found chained up and starving two weeks ago.  She's started to gain weight, has received medical attention, food and lots of love at KCHA.  This sweet girl is now ready to be adopted and enjoy a furever loving home!  Elena is about 1 year old, loves to play and receive attention.  She's not good at walking on a leash yet, but has been potty trained while at the shelter!  She's sometimes fearful of other dogs (she may have never been around other dogs until arriving at the shelter) and may need to be the only dog in a household.

And this doggie with the great big smile is still available for adoption thru B.A.R.C. (see info below)

 ·        Boss is a medium-size mixed breed, kind of a mini-pit mix.  He is house-broken, has been neutered and is up-to-date on all vaccines.  He just loves people, but a little selective with some dogs, so it would be best if he was the only dog in the family. Boss is 2 or 3 years old and very happy and playful!
